The hotel has a great location next to a pub. The rooms were cool, well-heated, but the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The service was amazing and welcoming. The location was just right for my needs. The dining experience was disappointing as they didn't offer fried eggs or tomato for breakfast. The facilities were satisfactory.

The hotel had lovely, clean, and tidy rooms, but there was an unfortunate smell in the hallway. The rooms were soundproofed, and the hotel had been booked for a corporate event at the Showground, making it a bustling spot.

My room was lovely, so clean and tidy. However, there was an unpleasant smell in the hallway between our rooms. The soundproofing was effective, which was a plus point. I found out that the hotel had been booked by Domino printers for their Xmas do at the Showground, so it was lively.

The service was a bit of a mix. The staff were friendly, polite, and efficient, especially during breakfast. However, on the second night, they seemed less attentive as they were mostly in the back office despite the bar area being busy. One staff member even helped me with the heating instructions when I went out.
